“Brand” is the most often used word in marketing. And the hardest to define.
Simply put, brand identity is ‘who’ a business is. This is esoteric and is an amalgamation of a business’s values, product and services, history, and community. Brand identity is most easily associated with a logo. This is further supported by colors, tone and content of copy, typeface, and other aesthetic qualities.
